BRODY! ADOPTED Meet handsome Brody! Brody came into our rescue when his previous owners decided that he had to find a new family after they moved. Brody was extremely scared at the crowded animal control and they sent out an urgent plea to Perfect Pets Rescue. We couldn't say no, so Brody is now ready for his forever home. PAYTON ADOPTED was a last minute (and we mean literally last minute) addition to our rescue when we learned he was in danger of being euthanized! Thanks to our awesome GA volunteers, and a foster offer in NY, he was saved! This is what the volunteers tell us: Peyton.is such an agreeable puppy. He loves to play, but he's very calm and gentle when getting affection. He isn't rowdy and jumping all over you.

PIPPA! ADOPTED Oh my gosh look at this adorable hound girl! Those soulful eyes and those silky ears - just right for stroking! Our volunteers just love her and report that she is a doll! BINDI ADOPTED is our sweet little chi that came into the shelter with an injury and had to have her leg amputated. Bindi has been dealing with the pain of a bad limb most of her life. She has adjusted to that pain being gone beautifully. She does stairs like a champ, can sit and jump and run! Absolutely awesome little girl Her foster mom tells us: Bindi is a very sweet and gentle girl. She adores people and loves to be held and cuddled. She is crate trained and housebroken, but will also use potty pads indoors. Bindi does not enjoy being outdoors and prefers to do her business and come right back inside. She loves cozy beds, blankets and stuffed toys. Bindi is a delicate girl and would not do well in a home with small children or large dogs. Peanut butter is Bindi's favorite.

JEREMY:ADOPTED This adorable boy loves to snuggle! In fact he gets an A++ from his foster mom as a certified lap dog! But he also has his playful side and does great with the other dogs in the foster home. Jeremy is related to our Jamie who is also available. They came into the shelter as strays and do initially present as a tad shy but soon warm up. His foster mom tells us:

BUDDY PAWLY ADOPTED is ready to be your best Buddy! This handsome dude would be perfect for just about any situation! He is a happy, friendly guy, is house/crate trained. His foster mom tells us he has no problem playing solo with toys and behaves really well while I'm working. He's great walking around town on the leash and then wants to cuddle up as a lap dog at night. He loves his crate and can often be found napping in there so she just leaves the door open for him. He's a wiggly butt and loves to jump on your lap. Good with kids and other friendly dogs with proper introductions.

STEWART ADOPTED Poor Stewy was a long time resident at a crowded shelter where his leg literally dangled. It was hard to see and hard to believe no one could help! We saw him and a volunteer quickly said YES, LET’S HELP! Unfortunately, his leg could not be saved. Amputation was the only option, but his foster family said he hasn’t skipped a beat! We are sure he is feeling much relief from that surgery and he is doing fabulous. Stewy is described as beyond sweet and cuddly. He gets along great with dogs of all sizes and also likes kids. He has such soft long hair and the prettiest fluffy tail, he surely was graced with the cuteness level of a 10! Stewy would LOVE to find the perfect loving family for all of his days, could that be YOU!?

DAISY! ADOPTED Sweet Daisy found herself out of time at a very rural animal control in GA. A plea went out from the volunteers who all loved her and luckily we were able to help. Daisy is one of those happy go lucky labby kind of dogs that will fit just about any situation. She is a friendly girl that loves butt scratches and belly rubs. She shared a kennel with several other dogs at the shelter with no problems.

REGGIE ADOPTED knows himself as Chi-Wow and his foster family says this little gem is going to truly make his new family very happy. Not only does he LOVE to snuggle but this little man is so loving and loves literally everyone and everything he meets. Chi-Wow has a zest for life and will always keep you entertained. He would love to have plenty of toys and hopefully a child of his own! He has been in his foster home with an almost 3 year old and absolutely ADORES her and it is his mission to be the first one she sees when she opens her eyes every day. So sweet. He also really really enjoys playing with his foster dog siblings both large and small, so having another friendly dog in the home would also be his preference for lots of play time! Poor boy came into the shelter with a very badly broken leg that he had surgery on the save, poor boy is still scared to use his leg but our vet assured us that surgery went well and he is all better with no pain!

KRISSY ADOPTED She's a little shy, but so sweet and gives gentle kisses. Krissy is a lover! She's so cuddly and melts right down with the gentlest pet. She's got adorable expressive ears. MIMI RAE ADOPTED was out of time at an overcrowded GA Animal Control! Our GA volunteers worked to put a plan in place to rescue her after a NY foster offered to take her! Mimi's foster family tell us! Mimi has the silliest and sweetest chichi personality. She loves to snuggle under the blankets and is a total snuggle bug, always needing to be on your lap. She is also learning that toys are fun, especially when they crinkle!

This friendly young guy is FERGUSON! ADOPTED Check out those ears! They were tipped when we first met him at the shelter but now are standing up straight LOL! His coat is a beautiful brindle color. BRINDALYNN ADOPTED Our volunteers all love this sweetie. She's a lap dog and wants to cuddle. Unfortunately her owner couldn't afford to keep her and so she was surrendered to animal control. She's on the small side of medium and fully grown. She can present as a little timid when you meet her so slow introductions might be in order. The shelter situation can be pretty overwhelming for the little ones.

A little timid and shy, but really coming out of it now. Would do better in a home without little children, that would be scary. But she’s ready for a new life with loving parents. QUENTIN ADOPTED is ready to find his new family! This handsome lad grabbed the attention of our volunteers at Animal Control as he sat quietly amongst all the chaos that was going on around him. Most dogs are jumping and barking trying to get attention. He so appreciated when he got a chance to leave his kennel for a quick potty break and enjoyed being loved on. Quentin was lucky enough to find a foster home and this is what we have learned about him. He is sweet and affectionate, seems more on the mellow side and is a lap dog! He walks nicely on a leash and is probably housetrained.

MYA:ADOPTED She is one lucky girl! Mya was found on the interstate and brought to the shelter. We are so glad someone was able to catch her before something bad happened. Mya was one big, matted mess, covered in fleas. After being shaved down, and treated for fleas, it was noted that she was already spayed. We have to think someone had cared for her at some point in her past, but it's so sad she was allowed to get into such a bad state and then abandoned. We will never understand but we do know that life will be good for Mya from now on. She is a sweet girl that soaks up affection. A family that will spoil her and make sure she gets regular grooming from now on is what she needs.

CHLOE ROSE-ADOPTED is a super sweet social butterfly who loves to make new human and canine friends and is looking for her future family! She may be short in stature with her short legs, but she is not short on personality! We have to think she had a family as she knows several commands and was already spayed too. Unfortunately, they never came to find her when she found herself at the shelter. We don't understand why as this girl has great house manners and it's obvious she was well cared for. We don't think she was a lost dog on her own for long.

ROCCO! ADOPTED Check out those puppy dog eyes! One look and you are in love! Now we do want to let you know that Rocco presents as timid upon first meeting. Give him a minute to check you out and get to know you, he’s super duper sweet! Like so many of the smaller dogs, the shelter experience can be overwhelming and scary. Rocco was also a lost dog for a while so that was more change for him.

RANDALL ADOPTED is a little guy that was found wandering all by himself with no family in sight so the dog catcher brought him to the shelter to keep him safe. Unfortunately nobody came to reclaim him so Randall found himself in need of a new home! His foster mom tells us he is a little shy but settling in well and getting on great with her little dog. He seems to be housetrained and lets her know when he needs to go out. He's more of a couch potato than a high- energy pup, house trained and crate trained. Great with people and dogs. He has the sweetest disposition.

JED-ADOPTED the sweetest and most loving dog according to his Georgia foster mom! He was brought to the shelter with Olinda both out for an adventure and not able to find their way back home. We don't know if they are related or just became buddies while having fun together! His foster mom tells us: Jed is affectionate, and especially loves to snuggle with my husband. MILLIE DOGGY BROWN!- ADOPTED How did she get that beautiful name you ask? Well one of our volunteers was at the shelter with her granddaughter. She fell in love with her and asked if she could name her! Millie was a favorite during her stay there and several volunteers brought her to our attention. This is what one of them said!

RORY- ADOPTED is a darling puppy, full of tail wags, puppy kisses and endless cuddles. This little pup is so lucky to be alive! He will never know that he was within minutes of losing his life at the animal control. Yes even cute little puppies get euthanized when the shelter is full and they need space for incoming dogs. Rory's siblings all got adopted but he got passed over day after day. When we learned he was out of time, one of our volunteers rushed to get him out of there.
Rory is enjoying being in a foster home. He can feel the sun on his back and grass under his feet (and belly) after weeks shut up in a small kennel. They are the best puppies ever - well socialized, friendly and adorable. Tessa is just a darling young girl. Wrinkly face and the softest ears that she just loves you to stroke! She can be a little on the shy side in new situations and she would follow her brothers lead, but now they are separated, Tessa is just blossoming in her foster home. She is learning all the things a pup needs to know like leash walking, house training, etc.

BENTLEY ROVER ADOPTED has the most beautiful soft brown eyes! You have probably noticed that already! All it will take is one gaze to fall madly in love with him! That is what happened when one of our volunteers met him at the shelter and so she took him home to foster!

Unfortunately 8 puppies were an unwanted litter - a result of an unspayed female so their owner dropped them off at the pound. SCHNITZEL ADOPTED is such a happy boy, friendly to everyone with a tail that wags 19 to the dozen! Schnitzel was brought to the shelter after he was found hanging out at a boat ramp in Georgia. He was scanned by the Animal Control offers and they found a microchip! Unfortunately their joy at thinking he would be reunited with his owner was short lived when they found out he had been rehomed 7 years earlier! So now Schnitzel is looking for a new family! It's clear that someone has loved him, maybe a little too much, as this guy has seriously packed on too many pounds. His weight doesn't slow him down, he is active and enjoys walking. His new family will have to take advantage of that and control his food intake so he can shed a few pounds. No more snacks unless they are carrots or green beans LOL!

WARNER ADOPTED was found by a family as a lost dog. The shelter was full and so they gave him a place to stay while they searched for his people. After his stray hold was up and no one came to reclaim him, Warner found himself looking for a new home. This is what they told us about Warner!
Warner is an absolute sweetheart. This precious young boy is a loving snuggler who is eager to learn. He would benefit from someone who has the time (and patience) to teach him commands and earn his trust. He loves to play with toys and his humans. He is great with dogs of every size and even cats, unless they are mean to him. If they swat him, he cries. WINSTON PAWCHILL ADOPTED is a sweet older gentleman who is looking for a new home! He found himself surrendered to Animal Control as his owner said he didn't like the children in the home. It was probably too busy and noisy for his liking and a quieter life without the comings and goings of a busy family would suit him best.
He's a great lap dog and if a lap is not available, then you will find him in his bed buried under the blankets! His foster mom tells us Winston is not intimidated by the larger dogs in the home. HAILEY BEGBER: ADOPTED Those of you that follow our rescue know that we have a soft spot for the black dogs that often get overlooked at animal control. Hailey needed us after she was picked up by animal control before Christmas and spent weeks waiting to be noticed. Sweet but shy was the note hanging on her kennel and she certainly would stay towards the back so adopters would pass her by.

Every day is an adventure and brings new things to discover and explore. No shy wallflower is Anise - she is a confident girl ready to join you in whatever you are doing. This sweetie is TWIZZLER! ADOPTED She was brought to the shelter along with her sister after a kind citizen found them running loose. Animal Control was having an adoption event at PetSmart so they were both invited to go along. Twizzler's sister got adopted but Twizzler didn't and had to go back to the shelter all alone. We decided we had to invite her to join our rescue.

He's going to make a great addition to some lucky family that is looking for a fun, older puppy ready to experience all the things that this big wide world has to offer. PENELOPE PAWZ: ADOPTED What a cutie! How this little girl found herself at Animal Control and no owner came to reclaim her we do not understand! Penelope was obviously a little scared there and so the shelter asked us to bring her into rescue. She has been enjoying her stay in a Georgia foster home and is now ready to find her new family. One that will take better care of her! She is sweet and gives little wet kisses once she feels comfortable. She walks well on a leash and foster mom tells us she is potty pad trained for when the weather is bad. (We have had a lot of rain in GA)! She gets on fine with the dogs in her foster home.
We would prefer no little kids in her new home.

SNOWDROP: ADOPTED Smart, friendly and oh so pretty!! This sweetie presented as a tad shy when we first met her at the shelter; but within a minute she showed us that she is a happy go-with-the-flow kind of pup! She enjoyed playing with her doggie friends too. She does seem more on the submissive side and loves to roll over for belly rubs! Now she is settling into her foster home, we have learned she already knows 'sit' and 'down' and is housetrained.

PENGUIN ADOPTED is a handsome pup with typical puppy energy but he is not crazy hyper! He enjoys playing and running around, especially after spending almost two months in a kennel at Animal Control. He’ll thrive with an active family who will give him lots of playtime and exercise. Penguin is super sweet and friendly to his people and doggie friends. He is a huge cuddler and walks nicely on a leash! His foster dad tells us: He loves to play and has learned to sit today. ROXANNA ADOPTED is a diamond is the rough and will be an amazing companion for the lucky person willing to take the time to get to know her. Once she is confident with her surroundings and settled, she is the most loving, happy girl who wants nothing more than to snuggle and to be by your side. "Roxy" would really prefer to be a Mama's girl and is more comfortable around women than men. She loves to play with toys, especially squeaky ones, and will carry her favorite toys around with her everywhere. "Roxy" is smart and knows several commands like “sit” and “leave it,” and is house trained. She does need continued work on her leash skills and some reactivity, so a home that is open and willing to help her with training would be awesome! (She would do best in a low activity quiet environment with no children, ideally as an only dog or with another submissive dog in an family.)

CASHMERE - ADOPTED is another sweet pup that needed our help. She was not able to go on to the adoption floor at the shelter as she was too scared and didn’t present well. Our volunteers met her, sat with her a while and gave her a chance to relax away from all the craziness of barking dogs and people coming and going. She realized they were there to help her and cuddled up to them. Of course, we said yes!

PEACH BELLE ADOPTED is a pretty pup looking for a new home. She can initially be wary of new people so needs parents that are prepared to be patient and willing to take the time for her to trust them. She was found as a lost dog in Georgia, on her own for a while, brought to the pound, transported to NY and then adopted. She has been through a lot of change in her short life. Peach is in a loving foster home and this is what they tell us: Peach will need someone to go slow with her at first but once she feels safe, she loves to be with her person, but also very content keeping busy playing with toys. She loves them. She plays, comes over for some cuddles, then repeat. She is perfect in the crate at night, is great on leash, and in the car. She is a great companion.
