NEPPY LONGSTOCKING - ADOPTED is a very happy and friendly little girl. She is very cute, and jumps up for attention so you will pet her. Neppy found herself back at Animal Control as a young adult after being adopted as a small puppy. She thought she had found her forever home but unfortunately her owner brought her back right before the holidays and said she needs training as she gets into stuff. Well yes puppies do get into stuff and yes they do need training.

GRISWOLD ADOPTED came into animal control as a stray and quite honestly he was just one big fur ball. The shelter shaved him down so he's looking a bit naked right now, but once the hair grows back in, he will be one handsome guy! He's sweet and friendly and was so happy to get rid of that matted mess that was weighing him down! His new home should be prepared to make regular appointments at the groomers for him! His foster mom tells us: It’s been hard getting good pictures of Griswold because he’s always on the move or in my lap. Very sweet and playful and energetic. Loves toys and giving kisses. Can be a little mouthy and jumpy when he gets excited so probably best in a home with no little children.

PABLO PUPCASSO - ADOPTED is just a young guy that was picked up as a stray. He has a cute little wrinkled face that makes him look worried but he is, in fact, happy, playful and very friendly. Pablo is certainly a handsome lad with shades of just about every color a dog could have! Pablo is ready to join a fun family! His foster mom tells us: Pablo is a young, happy, energetic guy who needs some work on his manners, But so far so good with supervised cat interaction! He loves to play, especially fetch, and is inquisitive about everything.

THE 'PIE' PUPPIES - ALL ADOPTED. BUTTERMILK PIE, TOFFEE PIE AND FUDGE PIE are 3 adorable little girls that are looking for their new families after they found themselves at shelter as an unwanted litter. These puppies have been in foster homes and are sweet and friendly and well socialized. We are looking for families that are prepared for the responsibility of bringing home a puppy and have thought through their decision very carefully. We find so many people like the idea of a cute puppy but are not prepared for the work that a puppy entails. They need to be potty trained, and supervised so they don't get into stuff. They have sharp little teeth and like to chew. They have been socialized with kids but we would prefer only responsible older children because of their size.
We believe they will stay on the small side as adults but that is, of course, just a guess.

KOGA: ADOPTED Sometimes one look at a dog and your heart just breaks for them You have to wonder what kind of life they have had and why no one cared for them. Koga is one of those dogs.
Huge matts hanging from his tail, dirty coat in rough shape and evidence of an embedded collar, which has healed but left scars. Of course we were not surprised when he tested positive for heart worms too. Well Koga is never going experience the hard life again. Now he is in a loving foster home and doing so well. His previous life just a memory as he settles into home life.

This gorgeous girl is our EVIE! ADOPTED She’s happy go lucky and so pretty with her spotted coat! We should have called her Spotty! Evie is a friendly girl, walks nicely on a leash, loves to be pet, but can be playful too! Evie has beautiful caramel eyes that will steal your heart. She’s as beautiful as she is sweet! She may present as shy in new situations but soon warms up.

LINCOLN: ADOPTED This oh so handsome guy found himself at the shelter before Thanksgiving when his family said he was too interested in their goats and they thought he would be happier in a goat-free home. He is sweet and friendly and walks nicely on a leash. We understand he lived with other dogs in his previous home. He is a big boy weighing in at 78 lbs and is around 6 years old.
GIDGET ADOPTED is a friendly, playful girl. Her foster mom tells us - Gidget loves belly rubs, giving kisses and nibbling on your fingers. Gidget is crate trained, house trained and walks beautifully on a leash. Gidget is a pure joy. She loves to run and jump around like a squirrel, but she also likes lap time and cuddles. She wraps herself up in her blankets at night, like a tiny perfect burrito.

POINSETTIA:ADOPTED Who is ready for some sweet puppy kisses? Poinsettia is a kissy girl! Poinsettia is an adorable, floppy eared puppy who can’t help but steal your heart. She’s a playful girl who will need a family that understands the training associated with a puppy.
Please have a training plan in place before applying so this girl can grow up to be a good doggie citizen. We think she could be on the large size when fully grown as we understand her mother was a large lab. Poinsettia was surrendered to the shelter along with her litter mates but they were all adopted.

JINGLES ADOPTED is a real Christmas ham! He is amazingly adorable with his little short legs and pointy ears. He enjoys everyone he meets and walks nicely on a leash. He is quite the catch, and a one of a kind looking pup!
He is going to have everyone asking "what kind of dog is he"? We say, the best kind! He will be a great companion, will keep you laughing with his enthusiasm for life, and is just adorable as well! Think of the fun you will have with Jingles in your life!

MISTLETOE! ADOPTED Mistletoe is a young gal who has a beautiful red coat and piercing eyes. She certainly is just stunning! She enjoys other dogs, is learning how to walk on a leash and of course as darling as she looks. She gives sweet kisses too! She would be a great match for a family who understands all aspects of training a puppy, because with consistency this sweet girl will blossom. Mistletoe was turned into the shelter right before the holidays as her previous owners said they didn't have time for her. Mistletoe is an older puppy with lots of love to give. Her perfect match would be a family with time to teach her manners and all the things she needs to know to be the best dog ever!
HARLEY ADOPTED is a handsome hound boy! His foster mom tells us Harley is a ton of fun! Harley LOVES to be outside. He likes kids, playing with all kinds of toys and he loves to play fetch, but it's really more like keep away. LOL He definitely needs an active family. Harley is extremely smart and learns very quickly. He knows his name and sits for treats and to put on a leash. Good with other dogs too.

This pretty girl is KATY PAWRY! ADOPTED So cute with her shortie little legs! Her foster mom tells us she is a quiet dog, crate and housetrained! She can be a little on the shy side and is not particularly interested in the other dogs in her foster home so probably a home without other dogs and young kids would suit her best as she settles into her new surroundings. Katy had a family but unfortunately her owners took her to the shelter when they had no time for her as they were expecting a new baby.
So sad for Katy but we know we can find a family that will treasure this lovely young lady and life will be good from now on.

CARRIE FURSHER: ADOPTED Those of you that follow our rescue, know that we have a soft spot for the black dogs! So often overlooked at the shelter, we always try to help! Well CARRIE immediately caught our volunteers attention when we were visiting the pound! Carrie is a happy, friendly girl that loves to be pet! Her foster mom tells us she is really sweet, already knows how to sit. She had so much fun playing with her doggie friends too and seemed on the submissive side with them. She loves belly rubs and rolls over at every opportunity. She's a fun girl, would be good for an active family as we are sure she would love the outdoors and to join in family activities.

RALPHIE PARKER ADOPTED reminds us of a teddy bear! Ralphie is a gentleman who enjoys other dogs and everyone he meets. He was so polite with our volunteers and sat so nicely for his pictures. As you can see, Ralphie has beautiful markings and his eyes are soulful. Such a polite guy, we can’t say enough good things about him! He's a nice medium size.

STARLA (ADOPTED) and TESSA (ADOPTED)! These two beautiful sisters were very shy when they were surrendered to the shelter. Obviously they had not received much socialization and everything was scary for them. They are now being spoiled in separate foster homes and have made great progress. Their foster moms tell us they are very sweet gentle, and loving! Another dog in the home would be a requirement.

Meet DEXTER - ADOPTED This handsome youngster is all wiggles. He is super friendly, loves to play with toys and fetch them for you and seems to know basic commands. His foster mom tells us she thinks he must have had a family before coming to animal control. He already knows sit and down, takes treats very gently and is housetrained. He is a fun boy, looking for a family that is fun too and will include him on adventures. Some kids to play with would be perfect too! Dexter enjoys playing with other dogs as well.

PAWNELOPE CRUZ ADOPTED is looking for a family that is ready to give her some TLC. Her short life has been a bit rough and when she was picked up as a stray, her owners signed her over to the animal control. She is so sweet and friendly and just wants to be loved! She has some hair loss which has been treated and looks to have birthed a litter or two. Unfortunately no puppies were found with her. Pawnelope's mismatched beautiful eyes caught the attention of one of our volunteers who immediately fell in love with her and so she was invited to be a PPR pet!

ANNE CLAIRE ADOPTED is an absolute show stopper! She has a gorgeous shiny red coat, beautiful long hound ears, a compact body and a shining personality! Poor Anne found herself at the pound with a litter of pups... all who were adopted very quickly! ANNE was left behind, such a sad story but we know we will find her a great home with her happily ever after!!

ABBY LEE WOOFLER ADOPTED just stole our hearts when we met her at the shelter. She was so very sweet and had the cutest soft bark when trying to get our volunteers attention! Poor Abby was being passed by over and over and had become the “longest resident”. When the shelter called to tell us, we knew what that meant and dashed in to save her. Abby may look like she has a little old lady frosting on her face but we kind of think she was born that way! Abby loved the other doggies at the shelter and humans alike. Abby's owner went to jail and Abby was left in the house by herself until animal control was alerted and came to get her. She's a PPR pet now and her new life will be wonderful!

MAVERICK ADOPTED is a happy boy looking for people to call his own! After setting into his foster home, he’s really enjoying playing with his foster siblings. His perfect day consists of cuddling on the couch, playing with his toys, and going on short walk with his dog friends! Maverick is always smiling and has a goofy snaggle tooth grin that captures his personality perfectly. He adores his foster parents, especially his foster dad and would love some adults to call his own! He is crate trained (he LOVES his crate) and house trained. Maverick prefers a calm environment without any children.
He’s young at heart and loves to play with toys (especially the ones with squeakers) and going for walks!

SHELBY and GIZMO ADOPTED! Double you pleasure, double your fun! Shelby and Gizmo are a senior pair of adorable fluffy dogs. Shelby was covered in mats that were giant clumps hanging off her fabulous fox colored fur. Both were dirty so we wonder if they were on their own for a while before finding themselves at the shelter. Now they are both cleaned up and ready for their new family!
Shelby is sweet, super friendly and a bit more vocal than her partner, Gizmo. Gizmo is a super friendly guy and enjoys meeting and greeting everyone. Both dogs are housetrained and wee wee pad trained. They walk nicely on leash and trot along at a lively pace. Both dogs ride well in the car, get along with other dogs and love everyone from children to seniors. They instantly love everyone they meet!! We would love to keep this pair together as they've come this far on their journey with each other.
They both weigh around 15 lbs.

ART PAWFUNKLE ADOPTED is an adorable little guy, happy to get attention from anyone that will stop and pet him! He has shortie little legs and a big smile! ALBERT TRICKSTEIN- ADOPTED is a real mystery mutt with his stubby legs and stout body, he’s just too adorable for words! His little worried eyes and gentle personality tugged at our volunteers heartstrings, as his only ticket out of the pound was by a rescue. His foster mom tells us: It was such a beautiful day yesterday, that we took him into Kingston and walked around. He was great everywhere we went, and was happy to meet everyone, including young kids. He walks well on a leash. He is fine with the other dogs but not super interested in interacting with them.
Albert was desperately in need of dental work so we got him all shined up and he is now ready for his new home!! He had 10 teeth extracted and now feels much better!

EMERY ADOPTED is a cute little ball of energy! Her cuteness is off the charts with that one ear up, one ear down look going on! Her foster mom tells us Emery is such a darling to have in the home. While she enjoys the company of her foster siblings, her preference is to be as close to you as possible. She gives the sweetest little kisses once she’s warmed up. Emery is a very smart girl and food motivated, so she’s easy to train. No young kids for her please, she has a delicate and petite frame and has to be handled gently. RAMSEY ADOPTED is an adorable young guy with the cutest underbite! He was quite unsure of his surroundings at the shelter and just simply did not present well, but we know all he needed was a little tlc and to be able to decompress! Once outside, he was ever so sweet!! He was picked up as a stray so he might have been a lost dog for a while. Once he gets to know you, he just wants to be on your lap. ETHAN PAWKE ADOPTED! is an older puppy that found himself at animal control. He was scared and retreated to the back of the kennel and didn't want to come out. A volunteer asked if she could foster him and, of course, we said yes! She tells us that after a few days he settled into her home, and became a happy puppy. Obviously no one ever spent any time with him and he didn't even know how to take treats or play with toys. Well all that is changed now and he is has come out of his shell and is a typical rambunctious puppy. New situations are still a bit scary for him so his new family should be patient and be prepared for some serious training with him as he needs to learn some manners. He is however crate and potty trained. good with other dogs and kitties too.

KIMMIE! ADOPTED Oh my gosh what a sweetie! This little peanut loves squeaky toys, bones and being carried around. She seriously would be happy if you carried her around like a baby all day! TELLY: ADOPTED Well Telly certainly wins the award for the most scruffiest dog ever! Unfortunately Telly found himself at Animal Control and was not at all happy about it. The shelter asked if we could take him as he was not going to be available for adoption to the public. Now in a loving foster home, we are able to find out more about him and what kind of home would suit him best.

EDWIN ADOPTED is very happy go lucky guy that loves everyone, including the dogs in his foster home. His foster mom tells us He is a disaster on a leash and will get himself and anyone/anything in proximity tangled up. SHAKEIRA - ADOPTED is a pretty girl with a cute nubby tail that is always wagging! She is chunky, not tall. She is friendly and does well with other dogs. There were some girl scouts visiting the shelter on the day we evaluated her and she had great fun playing and running with them! She is blind in one eye but our vet said there was no need to remove it as it is causing no problems. Shakeira tested positive for heart worms and had to be treated. It seems like this girl hasn't had the best home the first time around, but that is all about to change now she is a PPR dog! She deserves only the very best from now on!

DRACULA ADOPTED What a cutie! He presented as a little overwhelmed at the shelter but as soon as our volunteer opened his crate he just wanted her to hold him! He knew she could save him! AIDEN and ASTRID : Both ADOPTED We assume these two are siblings, they found themselves at Animal Control together! They are cute and happy pups! Aiden is a hoot, according to his foster mom! SKIPPY & JIF ADOPTED are our Peanut Butter pups! Two boys that are looking for a new home. Surrendered to the shelter along with Moo Moo and Xena, their owner didn't want them any more. That was the best thing that could have happened for these little guys as now we will find them loving homes with families that will get them the training and guidance they need to grow up to be good doggie citizens. They are very cute, very social and very friendly. They have fun personalities and are ready to take on the world. We don't know what went into their make up but the other dogs from this home are 35 - 40 lbs full grown so it's possible Skippy and Jif will be too. (Just a guess of course). They are having fun playing with toys, learning to walk on a leash and have begun their potty training.

FLORENCE PUPPINGALE ADOPTED was a bit of a mess when she was surrendered to Animal Control by her owner. Her coat was matted and she had hair loss so the shelter shaved her down. She was also heart worm positive. She spent several weeks at the shelter with adopters passing her by. Not Perfect Pets! Florence Puppingale was nothing but a kisser and a lover towards our volunteers and liked the other friendly dogs we introduced her too. She is happy to be back in a home situation now and has settled nicely in her foster home where she is resting after her heart worm treatment. She seems to be housetrained and loves nothing more than to curl up in front of the fire! We are sorry she lost her home but know that she will find a new family that will take much better care of her.

The Disney puppies -- SIMBA, ANNA, and ELSA - ALL ADOPTEDare 3 little munchkins that were turned into the shelter along with several other dogs from the same family. All unwanted. They are incredibly adorable, are social, love kids and playful! They will need families that have the time to spend with them and have a training plan in place. They have sharp little puppy teeth so families with kids should be aware that they are probably not suitable for little kids as they use them when playing! Coco Chanel went walkabout and found herself a resident of Animal Control. She thought it was one more opportunity to make friends! The staff loved her so much. Her foster mom tells us: She is sweet and goofy, crate trained and loves to play with toys! She has lots of energy so someone looking for an active dog, maybe even a running buddy would suit her just fine. No little kids as she is clumsy and they might get knocked over! MAKITA ADOPTED found herself at Animal Control as a lost dog. Luckily a volunteer offered to foster her and Makita was saved! Her foster mom tells us: Makita is very playful and puppy like. She likes other dogs and playing with toys, but she LOVES people. She is very affectionate and likes to give kisses and nibbles. Makita is very smart and learns quickly. She learned where the treats are stored her first day here and by the second day she knew her name. Although she’s had a couple of accidents, she is mostly potty trained and will bark when she needs to go out. Makita walks well on a leash and will come when she’s called.

DEMARREA: ADOPTED This adorable guy came into the shelter as a stray but his owner never came looking for him. He is sweet and friendly according to everyone that has had the pleasure of meeting him! He is looking a bit scruffy now but we know he will be even more adorable once his new owner gets him cleaned up. Maybe he was on his own for a while before he was taken to animal control.

JOE SHAKEXOTIC ADOPTED has just the sweetest puppy face!! You just want love on him and, of course, he loves attention! He was the first to grab our attention at the shelter when he reached his paw out and grabbed our legs and with his soulful eyes said PLEASE PICK ME. As soon as we opened the cage out jumped a happy adorable man! Joe Shakexotic played so well with other doggies and was an easy YES for the volunteers!

Bette is a super smart, very trainable as she is very reward driven! She would do best in a home without very young children.

OREO! ADOPTED Just as delicious as the cookie he is named after! Look at his cute little nose and freckles! Oreo is a sweet little puppy who unfortunately found himself lost, or abandoned, but who was lucky enough to find a foster family who offered to take him in! His foster mom tells us he is a playful pup. He enjoys playing with other dogs and is getting use to a harness and leash. He loves to cuddle when he is sleepy but sleeps in a crate at night. He LOVES playing with my 2 year old son. He’s really good with children, but still has the puppy behavior of mouthing and has sharp little teeth! We know Oreo would enjoy a puppy training class to help him become the perfect family member! If you have the time and patience to bring a puppy into your family, then OREO is your guy!

LOUIS ADOPTED found himself at the shelter after his owner had too many animals and had to surrender some of them. His foster mom tells us that he is a pleasure to foster! Louis is very sweet and affectionate, a true loyal companion. He loves to sleep under the covers with his people. He would like a supply of plush squeaky toys. He doesn't chew them up, but he likes carrying them. He also loves to play fetch. He's energetic and an active family would be perfect for him - some kids to play with too perhaps? Louis enjoys playing with his doggie friends. He's smart, already learning the household rules. He is not a fan of leash walking, guess he never learned about leashes so a fenced in yard would be a requirement.

Hi, I'm Moo Moo ADOPTED and I'm not a cow, I'm a dog! My beautiful brown and white spotted coat is what got me this silly name, but I'm all dog. Check out my cute little nubby tail too! Although I'm young and energetic, I'm pretty good at hanging on the couch and being chill, too. Give me a bone and I can chew and entertain myself for hours! The perfect home for me would be a home without very young children as they make me nervous with their jumpy movements and I might knock them over when I play. I have been known to chase cats, but I'm also afraid of dog savvy cats who will put me in my place. I'm very good with other dogs, but I don't need to have a buddy in the home if you'll be my buddy. I am housetrained and have learned how to use a doggy door to take myself outside to do my business. Since entering my foster home, I've learned, "sit," "down," "come" and now I'm learning "stay." I like learning things and if you want to teach me to do tricks, I'd be a great student at that, too.

It breaks our volunteers' hearts when we see the seniors at Animal Control. Shut up in tiny cages surrounded by barking dogs, it is just beyond sad. Luckily we heard about Goldie and a foster offered to bring her home. Goldie was already spayed but she needed a dental appointment to take care of the few remaining teeth that she had. Her foster mom tells us she is as sweet as can be. Walks nicely on the leash, loves to snuggle, housetrained, sleeps quietly at night on the foster mom's bed! Perfect little lap dog.

ELVIS PUPSLEY - ADOPTED is ready to sing and dance his way right into your heart! This adorable little man wasn’t singing the Jailhouse rock when we met him, he was quite terrified of the loud and scary shelter he was stuck at. We know outside of those walls Elvis Pupsley will flourish! Elvis found himself at the shelter after he was picked up wandering loose. He loves to cuddle as you can see! MILEY PAWRUS ADOPTED.is a darling little girl. She found herself at the animal control after going walkabout. We don't know why she left home but maybe she was looking for a family that would give her more attention. ANTONIO BONEDERAS! ADOPTED His award winning smile captured our attention (and our hearts) when we finally were able to visit this rural animal control to rescue dogs. He is so happy, playful and fun! Seriously this guy was smiling even after being stuck in his kennel at animal control over the lockdown. Look at that adorable scrunchy face! He played nicely with the dogs we introduced him to in the play yard too.

XENA ADOPTED is a petite girl with so much love to give. Presents as a tad shy but sweet is how the volunteers described her. She’s happy with a person or dog around and is very social. She has beautiful ears that stand tall, and match her beautiful markings. She also has a cute nub tail! Xena is part of a group of dogs that were owner surrendered to the shelter. Xena obviously has had puppies in the past, but now it’s her turn to be spoiled and have a family that she can love and will love her back!

FELICITY BONES: ADOPTED Well what to say about Felicity! She is awesome and there is a lot to love about her! She is one of those sweet dogs that you are instantly attracted to and, of course, she just loves attention and to be pet! We can't ever imagine her having a bad day - she just loves life and is a happy, smiley girl that will make you happy and smiley too!

Since arriving in NY, we have learned that Gypsy is deaf. Her caretaker told us: "Gypsy is perfection, smartest dog I have ever met, her personality is supreme! She is a great, great, great companion"

CLIFFORD! ADOPTED No it's not Clifford the Big Red Dog! Our CLIFFORD is just as adorable though but he is fully grown at 10 lbs so he won't get big! MARILYN MUTTROE! ADOPTED We have found the happiest dog in the world! The word stranger is not in her vocabulary - she loves everyone. A visit to the Animal Control didn't bother her and her tail wagged even when locked up in the kennel. She is so full of life. Not sure of toddlers since she does like to jump when she gets excited to see you. She would like to take walks with you and perhaps go take a dip in the water too. CAYDEN ADOPTED has been with our rescue for several months now. He was brought to the shelter after being hit by a car. One of his rear legs was broken and our ortho vet had to pin it back together. JD ADOPTED He's a cute little guy that does present as a tad shy (which is to be expected after all this change this little fella has experienced in the last couple of weeks)! But now being spoiled in his foster home, his foster mom is able to share more about him! She tells us: JD is low maintenance, he doesn’t need much exercise at all! He get most of his energy out by running in circles and excitedly playing. He doesn’t mind walks and he’s great in the yard as well. He’s extremely well crate trained and sometimes just hangs out in there (though given the opportunity he loves to be on the bed too). Potty training is on point! He is extremely sweet and loves being directly on or next to his people. He loves staring out the window and yipping at birds!

KIMBRA - ADOPTED is a darling hound girl - sweet and friendly. Unfortunately her owner had a change of circumstances and surrendered Kimbra and her buddy Hundley to our rescue. It was a hard decision and she left a note to let her new owner know that Kimbra loves to snuggle on the couch, is good with kids, her favorite treat is hamburger and hotdog, she doesn't like bread or pasta. CHIP -ADOPTED is a happy, tail wagging young man! He spent weeks in doggie jail after being picked up by the dog catcher as a stray. This boxer x puppy is just awesome! Such a happy girl! She is very affectionate. She is a big puppy, goofy, sweet, friendly and ready to take on the world. She would love a family who is active, she would probably be a great biking or running companion once she is fully grown and those growth plates have closed! She is a total gem of a pup with so much potential. She is playful and had great fun tossing a ball in the air and running after it. She does jump up, she can't help it she is so happy and so probably no little kids right now.

This boxer x puppy is just awesome! Such a happy girl! She is very affectionate. She is a big puppy, goofy, sweet, friendly and ready to take on the world. She would love a family who is active, she would probably be a great biking or running companion once she is fully grown and those growth plates have closed! She is a total gem of a pup with so much potential. She is playful and had great fun tossing a ball in the air and running after it. She does jump up, she can't help it she is so happy and so probably no little kids right now.
At just 5 months old and already weighing 40 lbs, she has the potential to be quite large when fully grown so you will need to show us you have a training plan in place so she grows up to be a good doggie citizen. She has a cute wrinkly face, black muzzle and she does have a tail.

This handsome guy was dropped off at the shelter by his owner after he was adopted from there about 6 months ago. Our volunteers said he presented as friendly to them and other dogs he met, a tad overwhelmed in the shelter environment as to be expected. It sounds like he was being protective of his owner and this is one of the characteristics of the schnauzer breed, along with being very smart! Leonardo will be looking for a new kid-free home and an owner that will research the breed and work with him. Possibly a quieter environment would suit him best.

HUNTER - ADOPTED - wow what a stunning boy! He certainly is so handsome and caught the eye of our volunteer when she was visiting animal control! Hunter is a friendly blue tick coonhound who wants to steal your heart. He’s playful, fun loving and enjoys other dogs. Hunter found himself at the shelter as a stray, turns out he’s not much of a hunter either. He’s not met another dog or person he didn’t love! Hunter is young, very friendly and energetic so an active family for Hunter would suit him perfectly! Might be too much for a family with very young kids/toddlers as that tail of his is always wagging and might knock a little one over!

ZORO ADOPTED is an adorable young pup who charmed his way into the hearts of our volunteers when they met him! He’s so sweet and played nicely with the other dogs when they took him to the play yard. He is as cute as can be! A great medium size, and a beautiful coloring, and check out those radar ears! He’s truly a real catch.

Meet MEGHAN BARKLE! ADOPTED This beautiful chocolate girl is the bell of the ball! Meghan Barkle is just too cute and she made up for her nubby tail as she greeted us with entire body wiggles! All she wanted was to crawl into our volunteer’s lap and get her ticket on the train out of doggy jail! She's a sweetheart for sure and friends to everyone.

DASH - ADOPTED is one of the most social guys we’ve met. He loves other dogs and greets everyone he meets with a waggy tail and big smile. He loves to be pet! He’s not a large hound, has such a gentle personality and is so handsome. His foster family tells us:

PRESLEY - ADOPTED found herself at Animal Control after she was picked up as a stray. It actually was a good thing for her as she was in poor shape and underweight. She quickly became a staff and volunteer favorite and they took good care of her! To look at her now, you wouldn’t believe it! This gentle girl can be shy, but is so very sweet. She has cute little brown spots in her white coat and some spots on her ears. She enjoyed the other dogs, and can’t wait to find a family to call her own.

ANGELINA WOOFLIE - ADOPTED. Sometimes your heart just melts when you meet a dog at the shelter. This sweetie found herself surrendered to animal control when her owner went into a care home. Angelina was confused as to why she was in a small cage and was missing her owner. She literally jumped in our arms when we opened her crate door! Angelina is a senior but do not let that confuse you. Angelina is very spunky and wants affection. You can tell she was loved and taken care of because of how good she looks, was recently groomed and already spayed. She just wants another human to love and cuddle with. We love that we can help the seniors and Angelina so deserves a second chance at a loving home.

KERRY MUTTINGTON- ADOPTED is a sweet girl who is looking for a new family! She is very friendly and enjoys getting treats and attention! Kerry was surrendered to Animal Control as her owner couldn't afford to care for her anymore. Our volunteers were struck by her beauty and friendliness, so she was the first one they met on their visit. She strutted out of her kennel and enjoyed her time with other dogs, so right off she stole hearts. Little did we know that the world nearly didn't get to meet this sweet girl. She was next on the euthanasia list as the shelter needed her kennel for some dogs coming in. We are so happy she gets a chance to find a new family. This girl is happy go lucky and is tall and beautiful with charming caramel eyes that’ll sweep you off of your feet. “I realized that I don’t have to be perfect. All I have to do is show up and enjoy the messy, imperfect and beautiful journey of my life.”

FOZZIE BEAR! - ADOPTED Oh goodness, this low rider, smiley guy is amazing! He has little shortie legs with a full size body! We just thought he was the cutest dog! Fozzy Bear will surely catch the eyes of many admirers, it surely did ours! His foster mom tells us: Fozzy is a sweet dog with a teenager attitude. He doesn’t realize his strength or size and plays like a puppy. He is still learning his manners and will need someone willing to work with him and guide him. We recommend a family with older children for this guy as he doesn’t know his size. He loves toys, tug-of-war, balls and squirrels. What a great way to meet your neighbors when you are out walking as everyone will want to know what 'kind of dog' is that! He's a real mystery mutt! Fozzy Bear loves other dogs and really enjoys a good romping around. He's a charmer for sure, loves his humans, and has a heart as big as his head.

What isn’t there to love about SID - ADOPTED From his adorable little stature to that silly little underbite, we think his unique looks are seriously the cutest. Sid came to us when he tested positive for heartworms and had to be treated - even little cuties like him need monthly prevention! Sid has been resting in his foster home where his foster family describes him as literally the perfect dog. SLOAN ADOPTED is a real catch! When we met Sloan at animal control, he came out walking ever so nicely on the leash and just wagging away with his entire body! No shyness, and he seemed to be quite happy making new friends there! We knew we were the right rescue to find him a beautiful forever family! DARLING! ADOPTED Animal Control named her Darling, and we can see why! She is absolutely darling! This black beauty gets a gold star for her bubbly and sweet personality. We think she will check all of the boxes for anyone looking for a fun loving dog but who is also sweet and loves to be pet! She's ready to sit in your lap and get cuddles. She surely seems like she was a very loved pet so it’s a real mystery why her family didn’t search high and low for her when she got lost and taken to doggy jail!

DIERKS BENTLEY ADOPTED is a happy go lucky young pup who hasn’t met a soul he doesn’t love. He had some bad luck and found himself at animal control, but his life quickly turned around when our volunteers met him. If you want a dog to be at your side and take long walks with you - Jennifer is your girl.

CURLY ADOPTED is one adorable guy for sure! His foster mom tells us that he will make a great travel companion, enjoys car rides, he walks well on a leash and is housetrained. He is good with cats and all the dogs, big and small in his foster home.. He loves to sleep on the bed or a comfy chair at night. He bonds very easily with his person and loves to hang out while you watch tv!

Sammy came from a hoarding situation and bonds strongly to adults so maybe this is the first time in his life that he has met little people. He absolutely needs a home with no kids, no matter how respectful, as they make him fearful and he reacts accordingly. Please be mindful of this requirement.

Her tail starts wagging when she sees you pick up the leash! She is also happy to lie in the sun and take a nap while you potter around the garden!

MONTIE ADOPTED! this beautiful girl, with the most stunning, shiny brindle coat you have ever seen, has had a rough start to her life. After spending a couple of months locked up in a closed Animal Control, the outside world is understandably a bit scary for her. She is comfortable in her foster home, but venturing outside on a leash makes her nervous. She is very smart and has already learned how to sit for treats, working on shake paw, she plays a great game of fetch and seems to never seems to get tired of bring the ball back. She is house and crate trained too. She absolutely needs a happy, friendly dog in the family already to help her feel more confident, and a secure fenced in back yard. SOOKIE ADOPTED is one of those happy, tail wagging young dogs that doesn't know what the word stranger means. Everyone is her friend! She is such a smiley girl, very affectionate and has a tail that is in constant motion. She hasn’t had a proper puppy-hood yet but she is ready to live life to fullest and put the past behind her! Sookie is learning boundaries and has plenty of rambunctious energy! She would do best in a home without young children and cats, as she isn’t quite aware of her size. Sookie loves the company of dogs, her sweet and playful demeanor would allow her to be a great addition to someone with a dog that’s looking for a playmate. KIMBERLEE ADOPTED is a pretty medium sized girl who is fantastic with other dogs. Our volunteers loved meeting her at the shelter. She did present as a tad shy but soon warmed up, was sweet and friendly and enjoyed being pet. She walks well on a leash. Kimberlee came into the pound as a lost dog. We don't know why she decided to leave home and get lost and we can't imagine why her family didn't check to see if she had ended up at Animal Control. We will find her a wonderful new home so she never goes wandering again!

MOE ADOPTED Are you looking for a sweet boy who loves to join you on the couch while you settle down to watch tv or read a good book? A low key guy who is not much into exercise! His favorite things are a cozy bed in a sun spot and food! Leash walking is not his thing but he does go outside to potty or will use pee pads if the weather is not to his liking! He loves everyone, dogs, cats, people, and loves to be carried. MOE loves to dance but he really loves to sleep too! MOE is an older gentleman and does have limited vision, hearing, but he get's around just fine! MOE is the most adorable little guy you could ever hope to meet! His cuteness is off the charts!

TRUFFLE ADOPTED is a sweet girl who was shy on first meeting but after a few minutes just blossomed. She’s a medium sized girl who is gentle and walks well on a leash. She wants to be loved and give love, and enjoyed her time playing with other dogs. Truffle has beautiful brown eyes and almost smiles at you when she’s posing for pictures. She has alert ears that stand at attention, almost like a mini shepherd! This sweet girl is going to make a family very happy!

MARESE - ADOPTED dazzled us when we met her! She is quite beautiful with a unique black and brown coat and a fluffy curly tail but we think her best feature is her personality! SCRAPPY ADOPTED Oh he's a darling little guy! He came to the shelter as a lost dog and the volunteers named him but you can give him a new name if you are the lucky family that gets to adopt him! Scrappy's foster mom tells us he is young, super playful and energetic. He's smart too and already has learned to sit when there are treats involved. Other playful dogs his size would keep him busy for sure.

PANDORA ADOPTED is such a happy go lucky lady, but it wasn’t always that way. This sweet girl was picked up by Animal Control as a stray with a bullet in her leg! So sad that someone would think to use her as target practice. Maybe she got lost and wandered onto someone's property by mistake, we will never know. Pandora is not only beautiful but she’s a friend to everyone she meets. Pandora's foster family just love her - she's a wonderful houseguest, quiet, well mannered, doesn't beg for food, rides well in the car, does fine with the resident dogs, and housetrained.
Pandora deserves only the very best from now on - a family that will cherish her and show her the good life. The bullet was removed from her leg and the wound has healed now.

ROGER ADOPTED What is there not to love about Roger?! Roger always looks so inquisitive with his one ear up and one ear down and what can we say, he is a curious big pup! He loves everyone and everything! It's fun to see him explore his world! Roger loves to chase ball and romp around with his doggy friends. His bright amber colored eyes are gorgeous, and his unique light brindle colored coat makes for a great game of breed guessing! A real mystery mutt for sure!

ZURI! ADOPTED Where are all our big dog lovers? Do we have a gem for you! Zuri is your typical lab mix girl, with those dark coffee eyes and personality that hasn’t met someone she doesn’t like. Zuri is playful, fun and would be a great family pet. She enjoys running and playing with other dogs too. Zuri spent several months locked up in doggie jail -- we couldn't believe that no one noticed her but being a dark colored dog in a dimly lit shelter, it often happens. Well Zuri is being noticed now! With her floppy ears and tail wagging, she’s sure to steal your heart!

NINO! ADOPTED This little chap is quite the character! No shy wallflower for sure! Nino was adopted from the shelter and then returned a couple of weeks later as he was 'too much dog'! B-DAWG: ADOPTED When we first met B-Dawg at the shelter we instantly fell in love with his big mushy face. His foster family just adores him and tells us he is just an easy going, happy boy! They called him Bubba! His foster mom tells us: Bubba is house and crate trained, good with other dogs. He knows sit, especially when treats are involved. He loves to chew on bones. He takes the phase 'take time to smell the roses' to heart as he likes to mosey around, not in a hurry to get anywhere. He would make a leisurely walking companion. He loves to sit in the sun and watch me garden! Bubba rides well in the car and loves to go to Starbucks!

ACE ADOPTED - When our volunteers met Ace, they knew he was destined to join PPR! He stood patiently waiting for us to approach him and then started the cutest little ”hops” showing us it was his time to shine! Ace didn’t meet a dog or person he didn’t love that day so he bought his ticket out of the pound!

Quinn was picked up as a stray and so that maybe why she gets a little concerned in new situations. Ears up or ears down, she can do both! Quinn boarded at our vets while waiting for transport and they tell us she is great with other dogs, loves to play with her buddies so we think she would love another playful dog in her new home. She has plenty of energy. She doesn't seem to have had any training, and will need a family that will take the time to teach her how to walk on a leash and all the other things she has missed out on learning. We know she has the potential to be an awesome family member!

Poor APPLESAUCE ADOPTED drew the short straw and was surrendered to Animal Control when his family said they just had too many pets. Applesauce was so scared we knew he needed us! SERENA! ADOPTED If you are looking for a couch buddy, then Serena is your girl. She loves to join you when you watch TV! If you aren't a fan of dogs on your furniture or bed, then she is not the one for you! She loves to be by your side to snuggle and be petted. Her foster mom says she is a real gem and is doing great with her dogs. Good with kids too. Serena is both crate and housetrained. She knows sit and wants to please. She loves to chew on bones. Serena came to the shelter as a stray and we don't know why her family didn't come to find her. Shelter life stressed her, she became thin, and it was terrible to see all her bones sticking out. Now being spoiled in a loving home, she is getting good nutrition and putting on weight. Serena is young, but her foster mom remarks how calm she is for an older puppy. Serena is around 11 months old and now weighs in the region of 45 lbs.

RAULF ADOPTED is a little guy who found himself brought to Animal Control after he was running loose and had some injuries. Not sure if he had been hit by a car but he was limping. Xrays showed no broken bones and so he went to a foster home for a few weeks for some TLC. Our vet has checked him over again and cleared him for adoption!

ZEKE! ADOPTED Look at this handsome lad! He is absolutely stunning with his brindle colored coat! His ears are soft and silky and he has a cute little half tail. He certainly turns heads wherever he goes. He has a lovely, happy personality to match too! He is friendly to everyone.

PETUNIA ADOPTED was picked up by the dog catcher along with her friend Iris running loose in Georgia. Their owner surrendered them to the shelter rather than pay the reclaim fee. Petunia is now safe in a loving foster home and is ready to find her new family. She is sweet, loves to be held, a real love bug that enjoys playing with her toys too!

Meet EUGENE!ADOPTED Well PPR loves their beagle/hounds so when we learned Eugene was at the shelter, of course he was invited to join PPR. Eugene is a sweet and friendly boy. His foster mom tells us: Eugene is a low key quiet guy looking a lap to lay near. He is a low maintenance and mellow beagle boy. He likes dogs, could do well with cats, and is such a love.

ARIA ADOPTED Look at those puppy dog eyes? ARIA certainly is as sweet as she looks. Always smiling even when stuck in a small kennel at the pound. Aria is the type of gal who has never met a stranger! When our volunteers first met Aria she was running and playing with a shelter volunteer having the best of times! We knew it was love as soon as we saw her! She has such a bright and chipper personality and she wanted nothing more than to play with us and her doggy friends. How do you even say no to that... well you don’t! So we welcomed her to join PPR! Aria loves other dogs and people alike!

ERNIE ADOPTED decided to go on an adventure with his brother Ernie which ended up with a visit to the pound! No owner came to look for them so we assume they were unfortunately unwanted and were roaming on their own for a while.
Ernie is a handsome tan guy who is certainly the more outgoing of the two. Very friendly and loving and going to make an awesome family member. Just needs some guidance so he can learn all the things a puppy needs to know.

HAM BONE! ADOPTED He is one adorable guy! The shelter named him as he was a stray so we decided to keep it but, of course, he doesn't know it and his new family can call him what they wish! He is a friendly, happy and rolls over for belly rubs at every opportunity. He's a fun pup and would thrive in a family that likes to be active. He would probably enjoy some kids to play with! Ham Bone is an older puppy that doesn't seem to have learned any manners - he will jump when he gets excited and has plenty of energy. He loves to play with his doggie friends, so would make a good doggie playmate. If you are looking for a little naughty and a whole lot of nice, he may be the pup for you. CRISPIN ADOPTED is an adorable bachelor with a unique personality looking for his perfect home. This one of a kind guy prefers to have strong bonds with dogs, rather than his people. Crispin’s aloof personality makes him a low maintenance addition to a home with other dogs. Although this guy prefers his space, he does make healthy bonds with people through training. He would do best in a quiet low stress home with no kids. Crispin has been doing well with his patient foster dad, so he would prefer a similar male owner. He is one handsome guy for sure! You can't help but think how cute he is with his fluffy coat!

This pretty girl is VELMA ADOPTED! She is looking for her special person! Someone that is looking for a quiet companion! Foster mom tells us that Velma is just wonderful! She loves to go on walks and likes to ride in the car and look out the window. She knows several commands, like sit and wait and she is housebroken and a good houseguest. She can often be found napping in her crate with the door open but loves a comfy bed too! Velma has a sad story. She originally was adopted from our rescue 6 years ago and was a loved family member. Unfortunately Velma needed to find a new home when puppies came into the home and Velma and the other resident dog started fighting. They had lived together before this experience and there were cats in the home too. This was very upsetting for the family who loved Velma and the decision was made that she would be happier in a new home. We think it's best for Velma to find a quieter environment now, no kids and no other dogs living in the home. She presents as shy and will need a patient owner as she goes through this experience of losing her home and transitioning into a new one.

- VIENNA - ADOPTED -- Well look what we have here! This girl is just stunning! She turns heads wherever she goes! Vienna went walkabout and got lost. We don't know why she decided to leave home but she was picked up by the dog catcher and found herself at the pound. No owner came to look for her which we find so hard to understand.

GRETTA LYNN ADOPTED is a social butterfly which might be how she ended up lost and in doggy jail. Everyone is her friend and she wasn't bothered about being picked up by the dog catcher and taken to jail. Just another opportunity to socialize! When nobody came knocking the doors down looking for her we were glad to ask her to join the rescue. She needs a new family that will spoil her and keep better tabs on her so she never feels the need to go wandering again. Sweet girl that loves to be held and carried around too.

This little munchkin is PRIMROSE! ADOPTED She is sweet, adorable and available! She was brought to the shelter to do her stray hold and when no owner came for her, she became a PPR recruit. GUS ADOPTED was very scared at the shelter, like so many little dogs. Shivering and shaking, he retreated to the back of his kennel and wouldn't interact with anyone. Animal Control asked for a rescue to take him and luckily we had a foster offer for him

BAM BAM both ADOPTED are fun pups, very friendly, super smart, doing great with learning their manners and house training! They both have cute little nub tails that are always wagging as they are so happy! They are playful and love to play with their doggie friends. They also adore kids so we wonder if they had a family before? At just 5 months old and weighing 25 - 30 lbs, they have the potential to grow to be large adults - especially Bam Bam. We will require new families to have a plan in place for their continued training and to be prepared that they have a lot more growing to do! Sweet STEWIE ADOPTED needed our help to find a new family! We don't know what his life was like before, but if a dog comes into the pound with wounds on his head that were caused by being shot at, then you know it wasn't good. The vet fixed him right up and now Stewie is being spoiled in a loving foster home. Stewie just LOVES to be with his people, especially in their laps! His foster mom tells us he makes the cutest cooing sounds, and loves to dance on his long back legs! He is crate trained but prefers to be with his people as he loves to be part of the family. Stewie loves to chew on bones and is favorite thing to do is to hide them all over the house! What a fun game!

CHARLEIGH ADOPTED is very friendly, sweet and sassy according to our volunteers. Charleigh was surrendered to animal control when her elderly owner was unable to care for her anymore. Luckily our volunteers were there and were able to take her before she had to go back into the shelter kennels. The owner's daughter did mention Charleigh is good with everyone including children and slept in her owner's bed every night. She is a senior and needed a dental so of course, we arranged that along with her regular vetting.

LEO ADOPTED is an absolute charmer! We think he looks like 'Tramp' from the Lady & the Tramp movie! He is star quality for sure! From his adorable scruffy face to his beaming personality, we know Leo is going to steal hearts! Poor Leo ended up at the pound with a broken pelvis and heartworm positive, but luckily a foster offer helped us save him! His foster parents tell us that Leo has been a perfect house guest and he is adored! Leo loves dogs of all sizes and children. He can be a little too interested in kitties and want to play with them but dog savvy kitties would be ok. He enjoys a good toy he can de-fluff and bones to chew on. He's a snuggler and wanna be lap dog! Housetrained too.

BINX - ADOPTED is a cute little scruffy boy that was found wandering and a concerned citizen brought him to the pound in hopes he would find his owner. No one came for him and so we brought him into the rescue! Binx is a charmer! He loves to give kisses! He has plenty of energy and is full of fun! He likes to be where the action is and gets attached very quickly to his person. He doesn't appear shy at all and can be a little stubborn if he doesn't want to do something. His foster mom tells us he's not a fan of his crate but accepts he has to go in while she is at work and settles just fine but does give a little whine in protest LOL! MISS FURBULOUS ADOPTED is just well fabulous! A darling young pup that is looking for a new family. Her foster mom tells us that she loves to play and snuggle with her large dog, plays a great game of fetch, bringing the ball or toy right back to be thrown again, potty training is going well and she has learned to sit. Miss Furbulous is a smart cookie for sure! She will enjoy a puppy training class so she can grow up to be a good canine citizen. Miss Furbulous was being given away as a free puppy on an internet site. Luckily one of our volunteers offered to foster her so we could bring her into the rescue.

This little bitty girl is IRIS ADOPTED! She was found running loose with her friend Petunia. They were picked up by the dog catcher and brought to the shelter. Iris is a tad shy upon initial meeting but soon warms up and is sweet. Iris has a little hair loss that has been treated. Some good nutrition and love and she will soon be looking good as new!

TITAN ADOPTED is ready for a family of his own. He is very playful and enjoys other dogs/cats. Titan is working on puppy pad training and leash training. He is being crate trained too (but at present would be a bit loud for apartment life). His favorite things are toys with squeakers and ropes to play tug of war. He has the heart of a lion, and if you understand giant dogs in tiny bodies, you will have what it takes to get the best out of him! Even the smallest of dogs need to learn boundaries and manners- one does not get the name Titan by being meek! Kind and firm training required we would prefer older kids that would be respectful of his size as we think he will stay tiny.

TWYLA ADOPTED is such a sweet and happy girl! She has a lovely personality to go with her beauty as well! She has so much love to give! DOC McDOGGINS - ADOPTED is a charming little fellow who is sweet and friendly and absolutely LOVES belly rubs! This is what his foster mom tells us: He is completely housebroken. Has been perfect with my kids and comes running if my 3 year old cries and was super excited when my 3 older kids came home from school. He does like to play with my dogs, even the 80 pound one. He sleeps ALL night, is great in the crate, takes treats so gently, no food or bone/toy aggression at all with my dogs. He is just perfect! I so hope a family with another dog and a kid or 2 adopts him, he would love it!

ROXY- ADOPTED is a darling little girl with a very sweet and happy go lucky personality. She is friendly, loves to be pet and rides well in the car. She gives the sweetest kisses and will lovingly lick your face clean! ROXY was surrendered to the shelter because her owner was going into assisted living and there was no one else to take care of her. Luckily our volunteer was at the shelter and able to take her straight to our vet for evaluation. Roxy's owner told us that she has diabetes and has a cataract in one eye. Roxy's foster mom tells us she gets around just fine, no problems there. She is house and crate trained, will whine to let you know she needs to go outside. She is good with the foster dogs and loves when the grandchildren come to visit. Just a perfect little lap dog says foster mom. Roxy does need insulin shots but we can put you in touch with the foster mom for more information.

BLACK JACK ADOPTED HIS sweet face says it all, he's ready to be your new bestie! Black Jack is just so handsome too with his stunning midnight black coat! So shiny and soft and just right for snuggling. We think he may have been a lost dog for a while, certainly he is very skinny and his ribs are showing. He doesn't need to get fat but he does need to put on a few pounds! He's young will need some guidance with things like walking on a leash - very friendly and eager to please.

KARMA - ADOPTED Everyone needs a little good Karma in their lives. There is no easier way to achieve that then by adopting this little sweet girl. Karma has TONS of love to give. She is smart too; already mastering Sit, Stay, Paw and many other commands. She does her business outside and sleeps all night in her crate. She is a perfect medium size and has the prettiest red coat. Karma gets along great with other dogs and everyone she meets including kids. She wants nothing more than to please her human and receive praise and love for being such a good girl. She's loving, sweet and snuggly - oh and she doesn't bother kitties either! Karma would do best in a home with another dog and would be perfect for a family where someone is home a lot to keep her company.

TWINKLE - ADOPTED (Twinkle Little Star - sorry we couldn't help ourselves) found herself at a small rural shelter when she strayed from her home. Lucky for her we were able to offer her a place in our rescue and she will be a star going forward. Just look at those ears and she has a tail that never stops wagging. OZZY PAWSBORNE - ADOPTED is AWESOME! He's a smiley boy with a tail that is always wagging. In fact it would make a great fan in the summer months! Foster mom says he's a total sweetheart. He loves, loves, loves to play with his squeaky toys and his doggie friends. He's a toy collector and will bring all the toys/bones back to his crate! He is crate trained and walks well on a leash. He does need a little training in the manners department as he can be jumpy in his excitement to say hello to everyone. He has learned to sit and his foster mom says he is very treat motivated and smart. A training class would be fun for Ozzy and his new family as he would be a star pupil! He is so eager to please his people! Ozzie found himself in the pound when his owner passed away. He tested positive for heart worms (which have now been treated) and he was very skinny with all his ribs showing. He needed rescue and luckily for Ozzy, a volunteer fell in love with him and so we were able to save him.

WINTERBERRY - ADOPTED is a precious little girl who went wandering and couldn't find her way back home. She is just too adorable for words with shortie little legs, no tail and the saddest eyes you have ever seen! She is so sweet and our volunteers fell in love with her the minute they met her!

GRETEL - ADOPTED is sweet but can be shy on first meeting! It's understandable - life has been a bit hectic for this poor baby recently. But that she is alive is wonderful. She was adopted from Animal Control but became very sick and her new owner took her to the vet. It was the nasty virus parvo and unfortunately the treatment was going to be very expensive with no guarantee of a good outcome. Luckily our vet started treatment, called us and well Gretel was a lucky girl and recovered. Her foster mom just loves her, says she is a snuggle bug and good with other dogs.

Alfred is a gentle, snuggly, roly poly boy! He is sweet and friendly, and did great with the dogs he has met.
He has a wrinkly little face and his soft shiny fur matches his personality. We met him at the shelter and it was instant love. Alfred melted in our arms and he immediately earned himself a spot in the rescue! He loves to be pet and enjoys a good butt scratch! Is this sweet boy the one for you?

He lived with several other dogs and so we think another confident dog in the family would help him make the adjustment into his new home.

DAISY ADOPTED is an incredibly gorgeous girl with a sweet and gentle heart. She spent a lot of time being overlooked in the shelter so she is initially fearful and skittish since she didn’t have much interaction with people. Daisy loves the play, cuddles, and confidence another dog gives so she will need to go with another dog in the house. She is beginning to understand humans bring love! She will need an owner that will be patient as she adjusts to her new life! Once she realizes how good life can be, we know she will blossom!

HOLLY BERRY ADOPTED is looking for a new family! Holly Berry is everything!!! Her tail never stops wagging, she's a happy girl. Foster mom tells us: Holly is gorgeous! Sweet, cuddly, sleeps through the night on her dog bed but will hang out in her crate if asked. Housetrained. Gets on fine with our dogs, both big and small. We don't have cats but would imagine she would do fine. She has plenty of energy, certainly not a 'senior' dog and loves to run and play in the yard. Holly Berry has quite a sad story; her elderly owner was unable to care for her properly and made the heart wrenching decision to surrender her to the shelter in hopes that she could find a family that could. She was clearly very loved however, she had an old unaddressed hematoma which gives her the now adorable ear up and one ear down look. It doesn't bother her and there is nothing to be done about it.
